Many people believe that media coverage of celebrities is having a negative effect on children. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Famous people like superstars are public figures that influence people of all ages but mostly impact the lives of youngsters, this is due to the fact that media people broadcast many things about these personalities to which I conform.

The every reason to agree with the claim is that celebrities are highly idolized by young people because of what they see and hear on the television and read on printed materials. Children imitate the image projected by these well-known people even if it does not result to desirable outcomes. The way teenagers nowadays dress themselves, pierce themselves and paint their bodies are the result of mainstream trending which are done by many great actors and actresses. These young individuals spend too much money and exert so much effort trying to look like the celebrities they adore which does not actually help them become better. This is clear identification that how celebrities conduct themselves affects also the way children project themselves especially in undesirable ways. Furthermore, the disseminated information by broadcasting networks regarding these famous people could also lead to high incidence of violence among young people. Most of the featured articles talks about a superstar on drugs or alcoholism or bad relationships which somehow instill the thought of doing the same acts also in the mind of the young. It is very well believed that children are easily swayed and they could attempt to do the same to drugs or alcohol and even relationship that could ruin them. It is then clear enough that media coverage regarding celebrities has untoward effects to youngsters.

In conclusion, there are sound arguments that emphasize the important role of the media concerning the topics on famous people that draws negative effects towards young individuals. I stand to reaffirm that I agree. Therefore, it is then recommended that media staff should ponder and think twice of the headlines they are to cover before bringing it out to the public.
