It is suggested that without the utilization of the internet, individuals could still experience life to the fullest. Although, I consider that the internet has become part of our life, nevertheless, I still concur with that assertion.

First of all, the advent of information superhighway has enriched peoples live in numerous ways. In terms of communication, connecting with others in distant places is now possible. Indeed, the internet has reconnected people who were separated for long times. This is true to most parents who left their children at home in search for a better employment opportunities in a foreign country. Moreover, the internet brought relief in the field of education. Tons of information is now just within the reach of ones fingertips while in the past, gathering data was so tedious and tiresome. People have to travel to libraries or consult some professors in order to get answers to their questions. Some resources may not be also adequate thus resulting to stressful situations. In stark contrast, it is convenient now and it is attributed to the invention of the internet.

Tough life has become better as a result of what the internet has brought us. A full life can still be achieved without it. It is also worth pointing out that there are drawbacks that people experience caused by the usage of the internet, especially when addiction or excessive usage is involved. It has created ramifications, conflicts and worst, isolation from the society on the whole. Others may also not be able to improve their vital social skills such as empathizing or reacting properly or appropriately to real life situations. In order to achieve a fuller life, internet users must set limits with the internet users’ usage to avoid those situations, which in the first place not what everyone really wants to happen.

Taking everything into account, while it is true that the internet has been enormously helpful in the field of education and communication, it must not be overlooked that it had brought undeniable downsides to people’s social life. Additionally, in order to make life to the fullest, internet must be used wisely.
